About the Role :
We're looking for a hands-on Senior Technical Lead with deep expertise in .NET Core and React, who can architect and own solutions deployed on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) while guiding the technical team through customer deliveries. You'll bring strong problem-solving skills to the table, join technical calls with client teams to discuss and align on solutions, and raise the engineering bar across the team.
What You'll Do :
- Guide the technical team through customer deliveries, providing hands-on architecture and design direction across the .NET Core and React stack.
- Architect and own application deployments on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), including containerization, scaling, and release strategy.
- Own database design and optimization across SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
- Drive code reviews and enforce engineering standards for .NET Core backend and React frontend.
- Define integration patterns - REST APIs, event-driven workflows, and Azure-native services.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical direction across squads.
- Join technical calls with client engineering teams to discuss, refine, and align on solution design.
- Apply strong problem-solving skills to work through complex technical challenges and keep customer deliveries on track.
- Evaluate and adopt tooling for CI/CD and delivery automation on Azure DevOps.
What You Bring :
- 8+ years in software engineering; 3+ years as a technical lead or architect.
- Deep expertise in SQL, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL - schema design, query tuning, replication.
- Hands-on experience deploying and operating applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Heavy, hands-on knowledge of .NET Core (C#) for backend services and REST API development.
- Heavy, hands-on knowledge of React and full-stack application architecture.
- Solid Azure skills - AKS-based deployments, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL Flexible Server, Service Bus, Azure DevOps.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to guide and unblock the technical team on customer deliveries.
- Good communication skills, comfortable joining technical calls with client engineering teams to discuss and align on solutions.
- Proven experience leading code reviews and setting engineering standards.
Nice to Have :
- Knowledge of ETL tools and data integration patterns (e.g., DBT, Azure Data Factory) - good to have, not mandatory.
- Healthcare domain experience - HL7, FHIR, EDI 837/835, or claims data.
- Azure certifications (Solutions Architect Expert or Data Engineer Associate).
- Experience with Databricks, Spark, or Azure Synapse for large-scale data processing.
- Infrastructure-as-code with Terraform or Bicep on Azure.
