We are a custom software development company (founded in 2021) delivering scalable solutions to global clients, primarily in the USA and Europe. With 30+ professionals and 30+ successful product deliveries (95% success rate), we specialize in Travel & Hospitality and Electric Vehicle (EV) domains. We currently manage an eMobility platform supporting 5,000+ EV charging stations across Europe.

Role Overview :

We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to work on a long-term eMobility platform for a European client.

You will be responsible for backend development, system reliability, and scaling a high-availability EV charging platform, collaborating closely with international stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

Backend Development & System Reliability :

- Develop and enhance backend features using .NET 8 and C#

- Maintain and optimize production systems handling thousands of charging stations

- Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues

- Improve system performance, scalability, and code quality

- Refactor legacy code while ensuring backward compatibility

Client Collaboration :

- Work directly with European client teams and product owners

- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

- Participate in client discussions and provide regular updates

Technical Implementation :

- Build REST APIs using ASP.NET Core

- Work with Entity Framework Core (migrations, optimization)

- Manage databases : PostgreSQL & AWS RDS

- Implement messaging : MQTT, Webhooks, WebSockets, Service Bus

- Deploy applications on AWS (ECS, Lambda, SQS, S3, CloudWatch)

- Use Terraform & Docker for infrastructure and deployments

- Implement security using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT

- Ensure observability using OpenTelemetry, App Insights, Serilog

Architecture & Quality :

- Follow Clean Architecture, DDD, CQRS

- Conduct code reviews and maintain coding standards

- Document systems and mentor junior developers

Required Skills :

- 6-8 years of experience in software development

- Strong expertise in .NET 8, C#, ASP.NET Core

- Hands-on with Entity Framework Core & PostgreSQL

- Experience with AWS services (ECS, Lambda, SQS, RDS, S3)

- Knowledge of Docker & Terraform

- Strong understanding of API security (OAuth2, JWT)

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines & observability tools

Soft Skills :

- Strong communication skills (client-facing role)

- Ability to work independently and take ownership

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

- Willingness to overlap with European (CET) time zone

Good to Have :

- Experience in EV / eMobility domain

- Knowledge of OCPP (1.6 / 2.0)

- Experience with microservices & event-driven architecture

- Understanding of IoT / real-time systems

- Familiarity with GDPR

- AWS Certifications
