Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Senior PHP Developer / PHP Technical Lead with strong expertise in PHP-based application development, Laravel, Symfony, React.js and AWS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing scalable applications, designing robust backend solutions, integrating frontend components, and guiding the development team to deliver high-quality software.

This role requires a hands-on technical professional who can contribute to coding, architecture, code reviews, mentoring and delivery ownership.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test and maintain scalable web applications using PHP, Laravel and Symfony.

- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate backend services with React.js-based frontend applications.

- Apply strong knowledge of OOP principles, SOLID principles, design patterns and secure coding practices.

- Work with relational databases, including MySQL or PostgreSQL, for data modelling, query optimization and performance tuning.

- Leverage AWS services for application deployment, hosting, monitoring and cloud-based integrations.

- Lead and mentor developers, allocate tasks, review code, resolve technical challenges and promote development best practices.

- Own technical delivery, support sprint planning, track development progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

- Collaborate with product owners, QA engineers, architects and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Identify performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.

- Follow Agile development practices and use Git-based version control, testing and CI/CD workflows.

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in PHP application development.

- Practical experience with Laravel and Symfony frameworks.

- Experience developing or integrating frontend applications using React.js.

- Exposure to AWS services and cloud-based application environments.

- Prior team leadership experience, including mentoring, task allocation, code reviews or technical delivery ownership.

- Strong understanding of REST APIs, OOP, SOLID principles and design patterns.

- Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.

- Good problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

- Knowledge of application security, performance optimization and scalable architecture.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
