Senior PHP Developer

Role Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior PHP Developer with strong experience in WordPress (Gutenberg), React, and backend development to build scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in multi-tenant architecture, custom plugin/theme development, and REST API integrations, along with exposure to cloud environments (AWS).

Key Responsibilities :

1. Backend & Full Stack Development :

- Develop and maintain applications using PHP and modern frameworks

- Build and manage WordPress-based solutions using Gutenberg

- Design and optimize SQL Server databases

- Develop custom themes and plugins

- Extend WordPress functionality for enterprise-grade applications

- Ensure performance optimization, scalability, and security

3. Architecture & Integration :

- Build multi-tenant applications supporting multiple clients

- Integrate REST APIs and third-party services

- Ensure clean, modular, and scalable code architecture

4. Cloud & Deployment :

- Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud platform

- Ensure application performance, uptime, and scalability

- Work with DevOps teams for smooth deployment cycles

- Participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies

- Mentor junior developers and support team growth

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in PHP development

- Strong expertise in :

i. WordPress (Gutenberg)

ii. React.js

iii. SQL Server / Database design

- Experience with :

i. Custom WordPress theme/plugin development

ii. REST API integration

iii. Multi-tenant architecture

- Good understanding of :

i. Web security best practices

ii. Performance optimization techniques

Good to Have :

- Experience with AWS cloud services

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines

- Familiarity with modern PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony)

Ideal Candidate Profile :

- Strong full-stack developer with WordPress + React combination (important)

- Experience working in fast-paced, agile environments

- Ability to take ownership and mentor junior team members
