We are looking for a full stack engineer with deep understanding of UI frameworks, relational databases and modern data stacks, and a desire to code in typescript, rust. The backend Engineer will build our general purpose blockchain data systems and also contribute to our dependencies.

Responsibilities :

- Proficiency in both frontend and backend development.

- Product minded and care deeply about crafting an exceptional user experience

- Proven track record of tackling complex challenges with innovative and straightforward solutions

- Experience in the following : React, NextJS, Nodejs, Typescript, GraphQL, PostgresSQL will be a bonus

- Actively work and improve backend APIs, ETL capabilities.

- Familiarizing yourself with the backend codebase, Rest APIs, database models and ETL system.

- Write subgraphs, substreams and deploy on production.

- Develop an understanding of existing code and design choices, and then analyze how they can be experimented with and improved upon.

- Reviewing pull requests of your colleagues and taking responsibility for the reviewed code as if it were your own

- Participate in the design, building, testing, and automation of the development infrastructure.

- Cultivate a culture of learning by providing insight into performance and reliability at the development level.

- Minimise bottlenecks and automate repetitive tasks.

- Support, troubleshoot, and analyze code on all 3 layers of the stack related to infrastructure, middleware, and continuous integration and delivery frameworks.

- Documenting important aspects of the software.

What we Expect :

- 2-8 years of hands-on experience in Web services and API development that have scaled to thousands of users.

- Understanding of subgraphs, graph protocol, smart contracts and Solidity will be add on.

- Familiarity with Ethereum EVM experience would be great.

- Should be good with JavaScript, Typescript, and ES6 standards.

- Hands-on with RDBMS, NoSQL, and databases like Postgres

- Experience working with REST and GraphQL APIs

- Experience in an Agile development environment.

- Familiarity with GitHub and any cloud preferably AWS.

- Understanding web3 protocols such as DeFi, NFTs, and DAOs are a plus, as well as SubGraphs.

- Experience working in team environment, helping them to resolve the issues.

- Strong automation and problem-solving skills and ability to follow through to completion

- Understanding of the Blockchain landscape is plus.
