Data Engineer - Snowflake Development

Description :

We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Developer / Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions in enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake, ELT pipelines, and cloud-based data ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop scalable, secure, high-performance data pipelines on Snowflake

- Build ELT pipelines using Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and dbt

- Ingest and process data from multiple sources using cloud-native tools

- Optimize performance, cost, and security across Snowflake environments

- Write efficient SQL transformations and automate workflows (Airflow/Prefect)

- Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and product teams

- Implement data governance, quality, and lineage frameworks

- Integrate Python for advanced processing and ML use cases

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake

- Expertise in SQL & Data Modeling

- Experience with dbt, Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks

- Knowledge of orchestration tools (Airflow / Prefect)

- Strong Data Engineering fundamentals (7+ years total experience)

Preferred Skills :

- Python (Pandas, PySpark, SQLAlchemy)

- BI Tools: Tableau / Power BI

- Metadata management & data cataloging

- Strong communication & stakeholder management skills
