About the Role :

We are looking for a dedicated Data Engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics. Unlike generalist BI roles, this position centers heavily on core GoodData platform architecture, semantic modeling, and advanced metric development. You will work closely with business stakeholders and data engineering teams to design, scale, and optimize high-impact analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Platform & Workspace Management: Design, develop, and maintain analytics solutions, workspaces, and user access roles within the GoodData platform.

- Semantic Modeling: Build and manage Logical Data Models (LDM) leveraging star-schema and dimensional modeling best practices.

- Metric Development: Create reusable business metrics and KPIs using MAQL (Multi-Dimension Analytical Query Language).

- Data Integration: Integrate GoodData with enterprise cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, Amazon Redshift, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server) backed by optimized SQL queries.

- Performance & Support: Troubleshoot dashboard performance, ensure data quality, and participate in Agile development workflows.

What We Are Looking For :

- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence or Analytics.

- Hands-on, practical expertise with the Data platform.

- Strong mastery of Logical Data Models (LDM) and semantic modeling concepts.

- Proficiency in MAQL for custom metrics and KPI calculations.

- Advanced SQL skills and proven experience working with relational databases or cloud data warehouses.

- Solid understanding of dimensional/star-schema modeling and ETL/ELT data pipelines.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.
