Job Title : Senior Manager AI COE

Job Summary :

As an AI Architect, the candidate will be responsible for designing and architecting end-to-end AI solutions that address complex business problems across Accounting, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Contracts and Audits, Budgeting, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). The candidate will partner with Finance & Accounting business leaders to translate business challenges into scalable, secure, and maintainable AI-powered solutions leveraging Deep Learning, Generative AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, and Optical Character Recognition (OCR).

Responsibilities :

- Design and architect highly available, scalable, maintainable, and secure AI solutions on cloud platforms, with a strong preference for Microsoft Azure (Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, Azure ML, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, Azure Data Services, etc.).

- Develop architecture artifacts including solution architecture documents, Data Flow Diagrams (DFDs), Entity Relationship (ER) diagrams, sequence diagrams, and deployment diagrams for every AI solution.

- Author Low Level Designs (LLDs) and technical specifications independently, ensuring development teams have unambiguous, build-ready blueprints.

- Design and build (code) reusable base frameworks, accelerators, and reference implementations that developers can extend to deliver AI solutions faster and more consistently.

- Architect solutions leveraging microservices, RESTful APIs, event-driven patterns, and containerization to deliver resilient and loosely-coupled systems.

- Define and enforce architectural standards for logging, monitoring, alerting, notifications, exception handling, and observability across all AI solutions.

- Architect data ingestion, transformation, and storage patterns for both structured data (relational, transactional) and unstructured data (documents, contracts, invoices, emails, images).

- Provide hands-on technical leadership by coding base frameworks, proof-of-concepts, and critical components using the Microsoft technology stack and Entity Framework.

- Evaluate and recommend appropriate AI approaches - classical ML, Deep Learning, Generative AI (LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI), NLP, Computer Vision, and OCR - for each business problem.

- Ensure all AI solutions adhere to enterprise-grade security, data privacy, responsible AI, and compliance standards relevant to financial and real estate data.

- Collaborate with the infrastructure and DevOps teams to define CI/CD, MLOps, and deployment pipelines on Azure DevOps for AI workloads.

- Review code, designs, and implementations produced by developers and vendors/partners; mentor the development team on AI engineering best practices.

- Work closely with vendors and partners to take handover of delivered solutions and ensure alignment with the target architecture.

- Stay current with emerging trends in AI, Generative AI, cloud, and the real estate domain, and proactively bring thought leadership to the organization.

Must Have Skills :

- Minimum of 14 years of overall IT experience, with at least 10+ years in architecting and building solutions using microservices architecture.

- Minimum of 10+ years of hands-on experience with the Microsoft technology stack, including Core .NET Framework, .NET / .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, SQL Server, and SharePoint.

- Strong hands-on experience with Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core, with the ability to perform hands-on development and coding when required.

- Demonstrable experience architecting and delivering AI/ML solutions in production, including at least one end-to-end Generative AI or NLP solution.

- Working knowledge of Deep Learning concepts and Generative AI patterns such as LLMs, prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, embeddings, fine-tuning, and Agentic AI.

- Hands-on exposure to NLP, Computer Vision, and OCR technologies (e.g., Azure AI Document Intelligence / Form Recognizer, Azure AI Vision, Azure AI Language, Tesseract, or equivalent).

- Prior working experience supporting Finance & Accounting functions such as accounting, accounts payables, accounts receivables, contracts and audits, budgeting, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and financial planning and analysis.

- Hands-on experience with Azure services such as Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure Service Bus / Event Grid, and Azure API Management.

- Demonstrated ability to create solution architecture documents, Data Flow Diagrams (DFDs), Entity Relationship (ER) diagrams, and deployment diagrams for AI solutions.

- Proven ability to independently author Low Level Designs (LLDs) and technical specifications that development teams can execute against.

- Strong understanding of the importance of enterprise logging, monitoring, alerting, and notification platforms, with experience implementing them using tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, or equivalent.

- Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API security best practices.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Git, and GitHub, including familiarity with MLOps and LLMOps practices.

- Working knowledge of Agile / Scrum delivery methodologies.

Good to Have Skills :

- Understanding of the Real Estate domain, preferably multifamily / residential property management, including familiarity with lease lifecycle, rent roll, CAM, and related financial processes.

- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure AI Engineer Associate, or TOGAF are highly desirable.

Education :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
