Role Overview :

As a C++ Modbus Linux Architect with 8 to15 years of experience, you will be instrumental in shaping the technical direction and implementation of our core embedded and industrial control systems. This pivotal role involves leading the architectural design, development, and optimization of software solutions, working closely with cross-functional engineering teams, product managers, and clients to translate complex requirements into scalable and reliable products. Your contributions will directly impact the performance, stability, and feature set of solutions deployed in critical operational environments, ensuring our offerings remain at the forefront of technological innovation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and drive the architectural vision for C++ based embedded systems on Linux platforms, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability for industrial applications.

- Lead the design and implementation of Modbus communication protocols, ensuring robust and efficient data exchange with various industrial devices and systems.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, guiding best practices in C++ programming, system design, and software development lifecycles.

- Conduct thorough code reviews and architectural assessments, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring adherence to high-quality standards and security protocols.

- Collaborate with product management and stakeholders to understand complex requirements, translating them into detailed technical specifications and architectural blueprints.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to system performance, stability, and integration in Linux environments.

- Research and evaluate new technologies and tools, recommending their adoption to enhance product capabilities and development efficiency.

Required Skillset :

- Deep expertise in C++ programming, including modern C++ standards (C++11/14/17/20), object-oriented design, and multi-threading for high-performance applications.

- Extensive experience with Linux operating systems, including kernel-level understanding, system programming, inter-process communication, and device driver interaction.

- Proven ability to design and implement Modbus TCP/RTU communication stacks and integrate them into complex industrial control systems.

- Strong proficiency with Qt framework for developing robust and intuitive graphical user interfaces (GUIs) on Linux.

- Demonstrated architectural design skills, including experience with design patterns, system decomposition, and performance optimization for embedded and real-time systems.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, capable of debugging complex issues in distributed and resource-constrained environments.

- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, effectively articulating technical concepts to diverse audiences and fostering collaborative team environments.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field from a reputed institution.
