Role Overview :

We are looking for an accomplished Tech Lead Python Microservices with extensive hands-on experience in backend engineering, architecture design, and leading development teams.

The ideal candidate should be capable of driving end-to-end project delivery while mentoring developers and ensuring best-in-class engineering practices.

Must-Have Skills :

- 8- 10 years of professional experience in Python backend development, including 3+ years in a technical/team leadership role.

- Proven track record in leading backend teams, conducting code reviews, and managing project delivery and timelines.

- Expertise in REST API design, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems.

- Strong understanding of backend security, including authentication and authorization (OAuth2, JWT).

- Experience with SSE, WebSockets, and real-time event-driven architecture.

- Hands-on experience with LlamaIndex, LangChain, or similar AI integration frameworks.

- Strong database knowledge PostgreSQL/MySQL, MongoDB, or other NoSQL systems.

- Deep experience with logging, monitoring, and tracing tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).

- Ability to drive technical discussions, define architecture blueprints, and collaborate across product, DevOps, and QA teams.

- Experience in scalable system design, performance optimization, and high-availability deployments.

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Haves) :

- Exposure to MCP and A2A systems.

- Familiarity with LlamaIndex Workflows and workflow tracing.

- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services (EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway).

- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and microservice orchestration.

- Experience building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

- Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SNS/SQS).

- Solid understanding of caching (Redis, Memcached) and containerization (Docker).

- Exposure to serverless computing patterns and backend-driven data visualization (Matplotlib or equivalent).

- Experience using performance/load testing tools (Locust, JMeter).

- (Optional) Active GitHub/open-source contributions demonstrating thought leadership.

Leadership & Delivery Expectations :

- Own end-to-end technical delivery of backend and microservice-based systems.

- Lead architecture reviews, scalability planning, and deployment strategy sessions.

- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define project roadmaps and ensure on-time, quality delivery.

- Mentor, guide, and upskill the development team.

- Champion engineering excellence, enforcing secure, maintainable, and efficient coding standards.
