We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead - Engineering to lead a team of 4 - 8 engineers at its Noida office. The role requires a strong hands-on technical leader with expertise in Java-based full-stack development, enterprise applications, microservices and Agile delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of 4 - 8 software engineers and take ownership of high-quality, timely delivery.

- Design and develop scalable, secure and highly available enterprise applications using Microservices architecture.

- Provide hands-on technical guidance across Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Angular, Groovy and Grails.

- Collaborate with Product Owners to understand requirements, estimate work and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Plan, prioritize and monitor team activities across sprints and product releases.

- Conduct architecture/design reviews and code reviews.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and production issues.

- Drive engineering best practices covering architecture, coding standards, code reviews, unit testing, documentation, security and performance.

- Work closely with Architects, Product Owners, Project Managers, QA/Test Managers, Database teams and other stakeholders.

- Contribute to technical PoCs and evaluate new technologies for product improvement.

- Work with technologies such as Kafka, Redis, Hazelcast, MySQL and Oracle.

- Manage development and deployment tools including AWS, Git, Jenkins and Nginx.

- Use Jira and Confluence for Agile planning, tracking and documentation.

- Promote effective use of AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q Developer, Cursor, Claude Code or equivalent tools.

- Ensure appropriate review and governance of AI-generated code with focus on security, maintainability, licensing, data privacy and engineering standards.

- Mentor team members, conduct performance reviews and support their technical and career development.

- Identify opportunities to improve people, processes, technology, quality and delivery.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

- B.E./B.Tech./MCA from a recognized institute with a good academic record.

- 6+ years of full-stack development experience with Java-based technologies.

- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience with Java and Angular.

- Strong experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot and Hibernate.

- Strong experience developing enterprise-grade web applications with focus on scalability, performance, security and availability.

- Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL and Oracle.

- Minimum 4 years of experience working with AWS/cloud technologies.

- Experience handling a team of 4 - 8 engineers.

- Strong problem-solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills.

- Hands-on experience in resolving complex technical challenges.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Practical exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q Developer, Cursor, Claude Code or equivalent is highly desirable.

- Good understanding of responsible AI-assisted software development, including coding, refactoring, testing, code review and documentation.

- Strong communication, stakeholder management and decision-making skills.

Good to Have :

- Experience as a Technical Lead / Engineering Lead.

- Product Owner experience or strong collaboration with Product Owners.

- Experience in Life Sciences / Pharma domain.

- Experience in FinTech or product-based technology companies.

- Experience with Bootstrap and jQuery.

- Experience working with globally distributed teams.

Candidate Profile :

We are looking for a self-driven technical leader who can remain hands-on while managing a team, drive engineering excellence and take complete ownership of technical delivery.

Candidates who can join within 60 days will be preferred.

Candidates must be comfortable working from office 5 days a week in Noida Sector 125.

Relocation candidates from North India may be considered. Candidates who are currently based in South India are not preferred.
