About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the architecture and delivery of an AI-powered procurement platform encompassing eSourcing, eProcurement (PR to PO), and Analytics. The platform is built as a cloud-native, multi-tenant SaaS solution with AI-driven capabilities.

The ideal candidate will own the end-to-end technical architecture across frontend, backend, database, cloud infrastructure, security, and integrations, while collaborating closely with AI/ML teams through well-defined API contracts.

Key Responsibilities :

Architecture & Solution Design :

- Design and govern the end-to-end architecture for eSourcing, eProcurement, and Analytics modules.

- Define scalable multi-tenant SaaS architecture, tenant isolation, and configuration strategies.

- Establish API design standards, versioning policies, and OpenAPI specifications.

- Architect frontend applications using Next.js and React.

- Design backend services using Python and FastAPI.

- Define database architecture, performance optimization, and security standards.

- Ensure scalability, reliability, availability, compliance, and other non-functional requirements.

Technical Leadership :

- Serve as the primary technical authority for platform architecture decisions.

- Establish engineering standards, architecture governance, and CI/CD best practices.

- Mentor engineering teams through design reviews and technical guidance.

- Drive technical roadmaps aligned with product objectives and delivery milestones.

- Collaborate with functional SMEs to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Collaboration & Governance :

- Define API governance standards with AI/ML teams.

- Partner with DevOps, QA, and Engineering teams on infrastructure, testing, and deployment strategies.

- Maintain architecture documentation and decision logs.

- Identify and mitigate risks related to multi-tenancy, AI integrations, security, and data privacy.

- Define and monitor platform SLAs and SLOs.

Required Qualifications :

- 10+ years of software engineering experience.

- Minimum 4 years in a Solution Architect, Principal Engineer, or equivalent architecture role.

- Proven experience designing and delivering multi-tenant SaaS platforms from the ground up.

- Strong expertise in Python and FastAPI.

- Deep understanding of React and Next.js architecture.

- Extensive experience in PostgreSQL design, optimization, and performance tuning.

- Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, and enterprise-grade security frameworks.

- Hands-on experience defining and governing APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger.

- Extensive experience with AWS cloud architecture and services.

- Production-level experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Strong understanding of architecture governance, engineering standards, and scalable system design.

- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude for coding and debugging.

Good to Have :

- Experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, ERP, P2P, or Enterprise SaaS domains.

- Exposure to AI/ML concepts, LLM integrations, RAG architectures, and LangGraph.

- Experience with Celery-based asynchronous processing.

- Knowledge of event-driven architectures using Kafka, SQS, or similar platforms.

- Experience implementing GraphQL.

- Experience designing analytics and reporting platforms.
