Job Summary :

We are hiring a seasoned Solution Architect with deep expertise in .NET technologies and significant hands-on experience with legacy system modernization. This role focuses on bridging traditional platforms (Classic ASP, WinForms, WCF) with modern cloud-native architectures using .NET Core/.NET 6+ and Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design scalable, secure, high-performance solutions using .NET and Azure.

- Lead modernization of legacy applications (Classic ASP, WinForms, WCF, Webforms).

- Architect migration strategies to .NET Core/.NET 6+ and cloud-based systems.

- Prepare and review architecture documents including solution designs, security models, and infrastructure diagrams.

- Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into architecture.

- Ensure data integrity and backward compatibility in modernization efforts.

- Provide technical leadership and mentor development teams.

- Drive performance tuning, code reviews, and CI/CD best practices.

- Maintain documentation for architecture decisions and integration patterns.

Must-Have Skills :

- .NET Core / .NET 6+.

- Legacy tech : Classic ASP, WinForms, WCF, ASP.NET Webforms.

- REST APIs & Microservices architecture.

- Windows Application Development.

- Azure : App Services, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Service Bus.

- SQL Server, Entity Framework.

- DevOps & CI/CD implementation (Azure DevOps preferred).

- Experience in full-cycle legacy system modernization projects.

Preferred Skills :

- Mainframe integration experience (optional).

- Hands-on with modernization tools or frameworks.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery.

- Strong stakeholder and team management skills.

Certifications (Preferred) :

- Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

- Microsoft Certified : .NET Developer.

- Any certification in legacy system modernization.
