Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect Data Platforms with strong expertise in Snowflake and DBT, which are the core technologies for this role.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting, designing, and guiding the implementation of scalable cloud-based data platforms while providing technical leadership to engineering teams.

Experience with Denodo and reporting technologies is highly desirable, though candidates with strong Snowflake and DBT expertise and the ability to learn these technologies are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, architect, and implement scalable cloud-based data platform solutions.

- Lead the design and development of enterprise data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.

- Build and optimize data transformation pipelines using DBT (Data Build Tool).

- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to data engineering teams.

- Review solution designs, code, and data models to ensure scalability, security, and performance.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Develop data architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.

- Optimize Snowflake performance, storage, and compute utilization.

- Design and implement ELT/ETL workflows and data integration strategies.

- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with reporting and analytics platforms.

- Support data virtualization initiatives using Denodo (preferred).

- Mentor junior developers and engineers while driving technical excellence across projects.

- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in data architecture and engineering processes.

Required Skills :

- 9+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Data Platform Architecture.

Strong hands-on expertise in :

1. Snowflake

2. DBT (Data Build Tool)

- Experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms and cloud-native architectures.

- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and dimensional modeling.

- Expertise in SQL and query optimization.

- Experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.

- Strong knowledge of cloud data architecture and best practices.

- Experience with performance tuning, security, and governance in Snowflake.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to provide technical direction and mentor engineering teams.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Denodo (Data Virtualization).

- Experience with Reporting and Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow or Azure Data Factory.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.

- Snowflake certification is highly preferred.

- DBT certification or practical implementation experience is an added advantage.
