Responsibilities :

- Define a clear engineering vision and execution roadmap across multiple teams.

- Align business goals with scalable engineering architecture and team structure.

- Lead, mentor, and grow high-impact engineering teams.

- Partner closely with Product Managers and designers to deliver customer-centric solutions.

- Own delivery timelines, release planning, and risk mitigation across projects.

- Drive engineering best practices clean code, documentation, testing, and performance.

- Establish and track key product and engineering metrics.

- Enable cross-team collaboration by building frameworks and driving alignment.

- Hire and build high-performance teams with the right culture and skill mix.

- Foster a results-driven, ownership-focused culture with clear growth paths and recognition.

Requirements :

- 10+ years of experience in full-stack product development, with 3+ years in engineering leadership roles.

- Strong hands-on experience building production-grade systems in startup or high-growth environments.

- Deep expertise in Node.js (core concepts and internals).

- Experience designing and building REST APIs using Express.js.

- Strong foundation in backend and cloud technologies: Python, Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes, Git.

- Working knowledge of cloud platforms AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP.

- Experience working with high-performance teams and establishing best practices.

- Strong collaboration skills with Product Managers and UX teams.

- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and scale teams effectively.

- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

- Ability to operate with speed and ownership in a fast-paced startup environment.
