About the Role:

IntellyLabs Technologies is looking for a skilled Senior Software Engineer - AI to build production-grade AI applications, agentic workflows, and enterprise AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong Python development skills, hands-on experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), and expertise in developing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop production-ready AI applications, LLM-powered services, and agentic AI workflows.

- Build scalable backend services and automation using Python.

- Implement RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search solutions.

- Integrate LLMs and AI services with enterprise systems using REST APIs, OData APIs, and SQL.

- Develop AI agents with tool calling, function calling, and workflow orchestration capabilities.

- Evaluate and optimize AI application quality, performance, reliability, and scalability.

- Collaborate with US-based AI leadership on solution architecture and engineering best practices.

- Mentor junior AI engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and technical guidance.

Required Skills:

- 5 - 7 years of overall software engineering experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on AI engineering experience.

- Strong proficiency in Python and production-grade software development.

- Experience integrating LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini.

- Hands-on experience building agentic AI applications using LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or equivalent frameworks.

- Strong understanding of RAG architectures, embeddings, vector stores, and tool/function calling.

- Experience building RESTful APIs and integrating AI applications with databases and enterprise systems.

- Understanding of AI evaluation, debugging, monitoring, and performance optimization.

- Experience mentoring junior engineers or providing technical guidance.

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, including the ability to collaborate with international teams.

Preferred Skills:

- Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Copilot Studio, or Power Platform.

- Enterprise ERP integrations and business workflow automation.

- AI observability, evaluation, and monitoring tools.

- Experience deploying and maintaining AI applications in production environments.

Interview Process:
