Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Operations Research Consultant with 10+ years of expertise in Operations Research, Data Science, or Industrial Engineering. The role focuses on optimization and forecasting initiatives within the manufacturing domain.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement Transfer Function models to analyze relationships between manufacturing inputs and production outputs.

- Design and execute Batch Selection Optimization functions to improve throughput, reduce waste, and optimize resource allocation.

- Develop visualization dashboards using SAS Visual Analytics (VA).

- Use SAS Enterprise Guide (EG) for data manipulation, ETL activities, and statistical analysis of large manufacturing datasets.

- Apply mathematical programming techniques such as LP and MILP, along with simulation techniques.

- Guide and mentor junior analysts on SAS programming and Operations Research best practices.

Required Experience & Expertise :

- 10+ years of experience in Operations Research, Data Science, or Industrial Engineering.

- Strong expertise in SAS EG and SAS VA.

- Knowledge of SAS/OR or SAS Optimization is highly preferred.

- Experience in the Manufacturing industry, particularly in production scheduling or quality control.

- Hands-on experience in developing Transfer Functions and optimization algorithms for batch processing.

- Ability to create custom objective functions and constraints for complex manufacturing environments.

- Strong understanding of mathematical optimization and Operations Research methodologies.

- Experience working with Python, NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and Gurobi.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering.

- Ability to explain optimization concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders and plant managers.
