About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Magento Developer to join our IT team as a freelancer or contractor.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining high-performing Magento-based eCommerce solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and superior user experience.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Magento 2 websites, extensions, and custom modules.

- Customize Magento themes and front-end components for responsive, user-friendly interfaces.

- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and shipping modules.

- Optimize site performance, database queries, and caching for high-speed performance.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in existing Magento solutions.

- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality deliverables.

- Implement best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability.

- Stay updated with the latest Magento releases, patches, and emerging eCommerce trends.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Magento 2 development.

- Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related technologies.

- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, GraphQL, and third-party integrations.

- Good understanding of Magento architecture, themes, and custom module development
