Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to lead and drive enterprise-scale data engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing and implementing modern data platforms, data warehouses, and data lakes using AWS technologies.

This role requires hands-on technical expertise along with leadership capabilities to manage end-to-end data programs, ensure data governance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise data engineering and data management projects.

- Design and build scalable data warehouses and data lake solutions on AWS.

- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark, Apache Airflow, and SQL.

- Implement and maintain metadata management and data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.

- Build and optimize big data processing pipelines for high-volume and complex datasets.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.

- Drive the overall data program, ensuring timely delivery, technical excellence, and adherence to best practices.

- Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership across the data engineering team.

Required Skills :

- 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Data Management.

- Strong expertise in Data Warehousing and Data Lake architecture.

- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.

- Strong experience with Apache Airflow, PySpark, and SQL.

- Experience with Metadata Management tools and practices.

- Strong background in Big Data technologies and enterprise-scale implementations.

- Mandatory experience in Data Governance frameworks and best practices.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

- Proven ability to lead enterprise data initiatives and drive cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with modern cloud-native data architectures.

- AWS certifications are a plus.

- Experience working in global or distributed teams is preferred.
