Job Description :

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Databricks Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data solutions using Databricks and Rest API technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver robust data solutions that drive actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement data pipelines and workflows in Databricks to ingest, transform, and analyze large datasets.

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for data access and integration with various systems and applications.

- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure data solutions meet business needs.

- Optimize and troubleshoot data processes to enhance performance and efficiency.

- Implement best practices for data governance, security, and quality across all data engineering projects.

- Mentor and provide guidance to junior data engineers and team members.

- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and big data analytics.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on Databricks and REST API development.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java.

- Experience with big data technologies, including Apache Spark and data lake architectures.

- Strong understanding of database systems, data modeling, and SQL.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure or AWS.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
