Senior Applied AI Engineer

Full-Time - 7+ Years Experience

Role Summary :

We are looking for a Senior Applied AI Engineer (7+ years experience) to design and build AI-powered software systems. This role focuses on leveraging Java, Python, and relational databases, along with modern AI tools and frameworks, to rapidly prototype and scale AI-driven applications into production.

Key Responsibilities :

- Leverage AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and ChatGPT to accelerate development.

- Design and develop scalable backend services using frameworks like Spring Boot, FastAPI, Flask, or Django.

- Architect, design, and optimize relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL), including schema design and performance tuning.

- Build rapid Proof of Concepts (POCs) and convert them into robust, production-grade solutions.

- Integrate AI/LLM services such as OpenAI APIs and Anthropic Claude into applications.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-impact features.

- Ensure code quality through best practices including unit testing, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical decision-making and architecture.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 7+ years of professional software development experience.

- Strong proficiency in Java and Python.

- Solid experience in designing and building RESTful APIs.

- Deep expertise in relational databases, including SQL optimization, indexing, and schema design.

- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools.

Experience working with AI/LLM frameworks such as :

1. LangChain

2. LangGraph

3. AutoGen

4. CrewAI

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with prompt engineering and LLM-based application development.

- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Redis.

- Experience with Voice AI technologies (Whisper, ElevenLabs, Deepgram).
