Role : Senior Engineering , Manager

12+ years of hands-on development & 3+ years leadership/management experience.

Seeking a highly motivated & talented Engineering Manager to work on delivering next-gen Secure Enterprise Mobility product, that is part of Qualys security platform.

This is a great opportunity, wherein you will lead a team that designs & delivers product roadmap features using cutting edge technologies.

Responsibilities :

- Own & deliver releases of distributed, scalable, containerized, micro service-based product.

- Lead team, plan, prioritize & deliver features by working closely with PM on requirements.

- Produce software following good design principles & high code quality.

- Be a hands-on leader, conduct design & code reviews, set up best practices and train team.

- Maximize productivity of team by predicting & resolving issues & dependencies.

- Ensure collaboration across teams to deliver with great teamwork.

- Establish processes to continually improve delivery efficiency & quality.

- Address any customer issues that get escalated to Engineering team time-to-time.

- Set goals, conduct performance reviews and work with the team members helping them towards their career goals.

Qualifications :

- Proven track record of delivering releases of scalable SaaS products.

- Customer focused and highly driven to solve real problems for customers.

- Strong hands-on design & development experience in : Java technologies, Web applications using REST APIs, Relational databases, indexing technology like Elastic search, caching like Redis, Event streaming using Kafka, Micro-services deployed as Docker containers in Kubernetes.

- Leadership, people & performance management experience.

- Delivering following agile methodologies.

- Excellent troubleshooting & problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication & collaboration skills to be able to work with global teams.

Additional desired skills :

- Knowledge of Mobile technologies & their Security aspects.

- DevOps tools like Consul, Vault, Terraform, Ansible, Maven, Gradle, Grafana, Prometheus
