Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.

- Build and optimise database schemas, queries, and integrations using PostgreSQL or MySQL.

- Implement authentication and authorisation mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2).

- Manage asynchronous task queues and background processes using Celery and Redis.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams to deliver seamless integrations.

- Work with Docker and CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and automated deployments.

- Write clean, modular, and reusable code adhering to coding standards and best practices.

- Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, scalability issues, and bugs.

- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and technical discussions to maintain code quality and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Strong proficiency in Python and frameworks such as Django or Django REST Framework (DRF).

- Solid experience with SQL databases - PostgreSQL or MySQL.

- Familiarity with Docker, Git, and CI/CD tools for version control and automation.

- Understanding of authentication protocols such as JWT and OAuth2.

- Hands-on experience with Redis and Celery for distributed task management.

- Excellent debugging, performance optimisation, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong understanding of backend architecture, design patterns, and integration best practices.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Educational Qualifications :

- B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

- Candidates from IITs, NITs, IIITs, or other reputed engineering institutions are preferred.
