Position : Principal Software Engineer- Backend

We are seeking highly experienced Developers for our Cloud/SaaS products.

In this role, your duties will include the development of architecture, design and development of backend/middleware components based on NodeJS, Go language, Redis, Kafka, Postgres, etc. and providing technical leadership to a team of 10-15 software developers. You should exhibit strong technical skills, a deep understanding of Cloud, SaaS and distributed systems, databases and be passionate about SDLC processes & tools. Knowledge of Security products is a plus.

Requirements :

- At least 12 to 18 years of Experience in building Cloud/SaaS products.

- Hands-on coding experience in Go Language /NodeJS/ExpressJS, preferably in Security/enterprise/SaaS products.

- Expert in any of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), containers and kubernetes.

- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, Rest APIs, databases such as PostgreSQL/mongodb, distributed systems, data engineering technologies, etc.

- Knowledge of the modern SDLC practices, Agile methodologies, tools such as Jira, and software configuration tools such as GitHub.

Responsibilities :

- Work closely with Product Managers and customer facing teams to translate epics/stories into technical requirements for self and team

- Create high and low level design of the SW components.

- Write scalable, testable, efficient and maintainable code to implement the design.

- Create and execute unit and integration tests.

- Conduct design and code reviews.

- Investigate customer reported problems and identify root causes.

- Provide technical leadership for a team of high performing software developers.

- Ability to work under pressure/ demanding situations involving complex technical challenges.
