This is a technical leadership role on Redemption Health - a healthcare and group-insurance platform spanning quoting, plan management, underwriting, and analytics workflows, with AI applied where it adds leverage. You will own architecture and technical direction across the stack, mentor the team, and ship.

Role & Expectations :

- Own architecture and technical direction across backend, frontend, and AI pipelines

- Build and scale backend services using Kotlin / Spring Boot (JDK 21), Spring Security / OAuth2 (PKCE), Hibernate (JPA + Envers), MapStruct, and Liquibase

- Build core platform features end to end - quoting, plan management, underwriting, and analytics workflows

- Integrate AI where it adds leverage - document processing, classification, and an in-house agent framework

- Develop and guide the frontend using React, TypeScript, Vite, and Tailwind

- Design and consume REST APIs; enforce clean layering and DTO discipline

- Model and optimize data across PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and Redis (caching)

- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability under production load

- Lead and mentor 4 - 8 engineers; drive code reviews and engineering standards

- Lead AI-assisted development (Claude, agent-based) as a team force multiplier

- Own CI/CD pipelines, Docker-based DevOps, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Terraform / OpenTofu); champion engineering best practices

- Partner with product and business teams to align engineering with outcomes

- Use Git for version control and follow best development practices

Good to Have :

- ClickHouse or other columnar/analytics databases

- Healthcare, insurance, or other regulated/data-heavy domain experience
