Role Overview :

As a Principal AI Engineer based in Hyderabad, you will serve as the technical architect and strategic leader for our enterprise-grade artificial intelligence initiatives. You will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and cutting-edge machine learning solutions, working closely with cross-functional product teams, data scientists, and executive stakeholders to drive innovation. Your day-to-day involves designing scalable AI architectures, overseeing the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) into existing ecosystems, and mentoring high-performing engineering squads. By spearheading these technical transformations, you will directly influence our product roadmap, enhance customer experiences through intelligent automation, and ensure our technology stack remains at the forefront of the industry.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and deploy robust AI/ML pipelines that integrate seamlessly with .NET-based enterprise applications to deliver high-performance, scalable solutions for our global clients.

- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of LLM-driven projects, from initial model selection and fine-tuning to production deployment on Azure, ensuring optimal latency and cost-efficiency.

- Collaborate with product managers and business leaders to translate ambiguous problem statements into actionable technical roadmaps that drive measurable business outcomes.

- Establish engineering best practices, including code reviews, CI/CD for ML models, and security protocols, to maintain the integrity and reliability of our AI infrastructure.

- Mentor senior engineering talent and foster a culture of technical excellence, ensuring the team stays ahead of emerging trends in generative AI and cloud-native development.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated mastery in architecting complex systems using the .NET framework, combined with a deep, hands-on understanding of modern AI/ML frameworks and libraries.

- Proven ability to design and manage cloud-native AI solutions within the Azure ecosystem, leveraging services such as Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, and OpenAI integration.

- Exceptional proficiency in implementing and scaling Large Language Models (LLMs) to solve real-world business challenges, with a focus on prompt engineering, vector databases, and model orchestration.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making at the leadership level.

- A minimum of 10 - 19 years of professional experience in software engineering and AI development, ideally supported by a degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.

- High level of adaptability and comfort working in a hybrid environment, with the ability to lead distributed teams effectively while maintaining high standards of collaboration and delivery.
