About Position :

We are looking for a Data Engineering expert to drive end-to-end data platform design and delivery using Azure and Snowflake.

Role : Snowflake Azure Data Engineer

Location : Pune

Experience : 6 to 12 years

Job Type : Full Time Employment

What You'll Do :

- Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end data solutions across ingestion, processing, and analytics layers

- Provide technical leadership to data engineers, including design guidance, code reviews, and best practices

- Design and oversee ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure data services

- Own and optimize data platforms built on Microsoft Azure and Snowflake

- Ensure data pipelines meet standards for performance, reliability, security, and cost efficiency

- Act as the primary technical point of contact for data-related initiatives

- Collaborate with product, analytics, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions

- Drive data modelling standards and consistency across data assets

- Support data governance, quality, monitoring, and operational excellence

- Troubleshoot complex data issues and guide root-cause analysis

- Contribute to roadmap planning, estimations, and delivery commitments.

Expertise You'll Bring :

- 6 to 12 years of experience in Data Engineering, with experience leading or mentoring teams

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data services, including : Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake (Gen2), Azure Synapse Analytics

- Strong experience designing and managing solutions on Snowflake

- Solid understanding of ETL/ELT frameworks and orchestration patterns

- Advanced proficiency in SQL

- Strong understanding of data warehousing and data modelling concepts

- Excellent analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills

- Experience with StreamSets for data ingestion and pipeline orchestration

- Exposure to near real-time or streaming data pipelines

- Experience working with cloud-native or Lakehouse architectures

- Knowledge of data governance, lineage, and metadata management

- Experience with Python or scripting for automation.
