Your work will help internal stakeholders manage sensitive organizational change with confidence, transparency, governance, and auditability.

Responsibilities :

- Own implementation of the business-facing UI using React and TypeScript, ensuring usability and accessibility for a diverse set of internal customers.

- Develop backend APIs, relational data models, workflow services, scenario/version management, and employee-level transaction logic using Python/FastAPI, Java/Spring, Node.js, .NET, or an equivalent enterprise backend stack.

- Implement a parallel workflow model supporting soft dependencies, hard dependencies, critical-path blockers, refresh requirements, approval invalidation, and stage-gate enforcement.

- Build approval routing, final-lock controls, immutable audit events, reconciliation logic, dashboards, CSV/EIB-ready exports, and API-ready integration interfaces.

- Partner with the other engineer and Solution Architect to ensure implementation decisions align with security, scalability, data protection, observability, and architectural standards.

- Collaborate with PISD and cross-functional business partners to clarify requirements, resolve ambiguity, and deliver solutions that align with Autodesks compliance, privacy, and security standards.

- Represent engineering in product reviews and roadmap discussions by advocating for production readiness, operational excellence, stakeholder needs, and scalable implementation patterns.

Required Qualifications :

- Strong backend experience with Python/FastAPI, Java/Spring, Node.js, .NET, or an equivalent enterprise stack.

- Experience designing relational data models, REST APIs, event-driven services, workflow engines, and versioned business objects.

- Demonstrated experience implementing role-based access control, approval workflows, audit logging, and secure handling of sensitive data.

- Strong understanding of automated testing, CI/CD, cloud deployment, logging, monitoring, and application support.

- Ability to work with business stakeholders and convert ambiguous operating processes into clear system behavior.

- Experience developing applications in which multiple teams act concurrently, and changes may invalidate prior approvals or downstream outputs.

- Successful track record collaborating with architects, product owners, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver production-ready internal tools.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience designing and deploying secure, scalable, and highly available enterprise applications within the AWS ecosystem.

- Experience designing, building, or supporting integrations with enterprise HR, finance, or workforce planning systems, such as Workday HCM, Workday Adaptive Planning, or similar platforms.

- Experience with organizational modeling, scenario comparison, tree or hierarchy visualization, drag-and-drop structural design, or workforce analytics.

- Familiarity with graph data models, temporal/versioned data, rules engines, or BPM/workflow platforms.

- Experience building internal enterprise products for global, multi-country users.

- Familiarity with Autodesk products, platforms, or customer domains.
