About the Role :

We are looking for a NOC Technical Escalation Lead to act as the final technical escalation point across Campus Networking and Security. The role will own critical incidents, drive complex escalations to resolution, lead vendor TAC interactions, and mentor L1/L2 engineers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Act as the final technical escalation point for NOC issues across networking and security.

- Own and drive L2/L3 escalations and critical incidents through resolution.

- Lead technical calls with Aruba, Juniper, Fortinet TAC and external teams.

- Troubleshoot complex issues across Wired/Wireless, Firewalls, NAC, and SD-WAN.

- Provide protocol-level troubleshooting across OSPF, BGP, VLANs, EtherChannel/LACP, loops, 802.1X/RADIUS, SD-WAN, and firewall traffic flows.

- Handle customer and internal escalations in high-pressure environments.

- Mentor and upskill L1/L2 NOC engineers through technical training and knowledge-sharing.

- Drive technical improvement initiatives and stay current with emerging networking and security technologies.

- Act as an SME across core networking and security domains.

Mandatory Requirements :

- 4+ years of total Networking/Network Security experience, including 3+ years in NOC/Network Operations handling L2/L3 escalations.

- Proven experience as a senior escalation point, independently owning critical issues through resolution.

- Hands-on experience working with vendor TAC teams to resolve complex incidents.

- Experience mentoring and upskilling L1/L2 engineers.

- Strong hands-on expertise in Wired & Wireless Networking, Firewalls, NAC, and SD-WAN.

- Working knowledge of Aruba, Juniper, and Fortinet platforms.

- Strong protocol-level troubleshooting across OSPF, BGP, VLAN, EtherChannel/LACP, network loops, 802.1X/RADIUS, SD-WAN, and firewall policies/traffic flows.

- Strong customer-facing communication and ability to manage high-severity escalations.

- Ability to lead technical bridge calls with vendors and external stakeholders.
