Role Overview :

We are seeking a Senior Azure Architect to lead the design and implementation of a next-generation Digital Audit & Valuation Platform. You will architect high-scale, cloud-native environments that transform traditional manual fund audits into automated, data-driven processes. The system focuses on making fund audits faster, safer, and smarter by performing 100% population testing across portfolio valuations, investment balances, transactions, and disclosures.

Key Responsibilities :

- Intelligent Audit Architecture : Design an end-to-end global audit ecosystem on Azure that leverages cognitive technologies and agentic workflows to surface fund risks and performance insights. Design and optimize Azure-native data lakes (ADLS Gen2) and warehouses (Synapse/Databricks) to ingest and normalize high-frequency data from Refinitiv, ICE, Bloomberg, and S&P.

- Automated Valuation Testing : Build analytics pipelines to automate Independent Price Verification (IPV) for Fixed Income securities, Municipal Bonds, and Private Loans using pricing from Moody's and trade data from TRACE.

- Independent Data Aggregation : Architect secure pipelines for aggregating third-party market data and custodial records to automate the reconciliation of investment transactions and multi-currency holdings.

- Disclosure & Disclosure Automation : Implement AI-driven workflows to automate the "tie-out" process for financial statements, footnotes, and regulatory disclosures against underlying investment ledgers.

- Advanced Risk Modeling : Develop predictive analytics and anomaly detection models to identify high-risk journal entries and valuation outliers before they impact financial reporting.

- Multi-Asset Reconciliation : Architect workflows to test investment balances and transactions, integrating FX & Spot rates for multi-currency portfolio disclosures and cross-border trade validation.

- Audit Intelligence : Implement advanced logic for Calculated Amortized Cost (CAC) and Market Value Adjusted (MAD) valuations to significantly reduce the time needed for substantive testing of loan books.

Technical Requirements :

- Azure Infrastructure : Expert-level proficiency in Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and ADLS Gen2 for managing massive volumes of financial transaction data.

- AI & Cognitive Services : Experience integrating Generative AI for smarter documentation review, metadata extraction from investment agreements, and automated audit trail generation.

- Data Governance : Deep expertise in Azure Purview and high-grade encryption protocols to ensure all audit evidence is immutable and compliant with global financial regulations (SOC 1/2, SEC, PCAOB).

- Performance Engineering : Proven ability to optimize large-scale data processing to enable real-time visibility into audit progress and risk assessments for stakeholders.

- Market Data Integration : Proven experience building API-driven ingestion frameworks for Bloomberg (B-Pipe/Data License), Refinitiv (Tick History), and ICE Data Services.

- Fixed Income Logic : Strong understanding of the data structures for Municipal Bonds, Loans, and FX products, including coupon schedules, accruals, and credit rating migrations.

- AI & Analytics : Experience using Azure Machine Learning to detect valuation outliers or anomalies in TRACE trade reporting data.
