MS Fabric / Power BI Developer

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced MS Fabric / Power BI Developer to design, develop, and optimize end-to-end Business Intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and data analytics using SQL and Python, delivering high-performance dashboards and actionable insights for business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement end-to-end BI solutions using Microsoft Fabric

- Build interactive, scalable, and high-performance Power BI dashboards and reports

- Perform data modeling, transformations, and semantic layer design to support analytics use cases

- Optimize Power BI performance including DAX optimization, data refresh strategies, and model tuning

- Work with large datasets using SQL for data extraction, transformation, and validation

- Leverage Python for advanced analytics, data processing, and automation where required

- Integrate data from multiple sources including data lakes, data warehouses, APIs, and enterprise systems

- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across BI solutions

- Collaborate with business users, product owners, and data engineering teams to gather requirements and deliver insights

- Implement security, row-level security (RLS), and access controls in Power BI

- Manage deployment, versioning, and monitoring of BI assets within the Microsoft ecosystem

Key Skills & Technologies :

- Microsoft Fabric (Data Engineering, Data Warehouse, Lakehouse, Pipelines)

- Power BI (Reports, Dashboards, DAX, Power Query)

- Strong proficiency in SQL

- Working knowledge of Python for analytics and automation

- Star schema and dimensional modeling

- Performance tuning and optimization in Power BI

- Azure data services (preferred)

- Integration with enterprise data platforms

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics, or a related field

- 6-8 years of experience in BI, analytics, or data visualization

- Proven experience delivering end-to-end BI solutions

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

- Experience with Azure Synapse, Data Factory, or Azure Data Lake

- Knowledge of Fabric Copilot and AI-powered analytics

- Microsoft certifications in Power BI, Fabric, or Azure (preferred)
