Job Description :
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Engineer to support automotive ECU development projects by ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards and implementing robust security architectures. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze risks, define security concepts, support implementation, and contribute to secure product releases.
Key Responsibilities :
- Apply automotive cybersecurity standards such as ISO/SAE 21434 in ECU development projects
- Analyze and review customer cybersecurity requirements and derive technical security concepts
- Develop, maintain, and review cybersecurity plans aligned with project milestones
- Perform Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) and cybersecurity vulnerability analyses
- Utilize hardware security capabilities and cryptographic/security primitives for secure system design
- Support development teams in implementing cybersecurity requirements and architectures
- Review cybersecurity-related work products and provide technical guidance to project teams
- Present cybersecurity status updates in global security meetings and escalate issues as per organizational processes
- Create and maintain Security Case documentation
- Support cybersecurity audits, assessments, and secure product release activities
Required Technical Skills :
- Strong understanding of ISO/SAE 21434 or similar automotive cybersecurity standards
- Experience in automotive cybersecurity architecture and implementation of security controls
- Hands-on experience in performing TARA (Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment)
- Experience with security vulnerability analysis and interpretation of static code analysis reports from a cybersecurity perspective
- Good understanding of hardware-based security features and security primitives
- Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and A-SPICE processes
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN and LIN
- Basic understanding of C programming
Preferred / Advantage Skills :
- Familiarity with ISO 26262 and Functional Safety concepts
- Experience working in automotive embedded software development environments
- Exposure to secure boot, cryptography, HSMs, or secure communication protocols is an added advantage
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in related field
