Lead BI & Dimensional Modelling Consultant

Key Responsibilities :

- 8+ years of experience in dimensional modelling using top-down and hybrid approaches.

- Implement access/presentation layers in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.

- Apply advanced design patterns and modelling techniques to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Proven track record in large-scale, greenfield BI projects.

- Deep understanding of the Life Insurance domain.

- Translate business requirements into dimensional models.

- Focus on data quality, optimization, and governance.

- Lead a team of modelers to deliver end-to-end BI solutions.

- Collaborate with clients, engineers, architects, PMs, and other stakeholders.

- Support project planning and ensure timely delivery of milestones.

- Exhibit a can-do attitude and strong interpersonal skills.

- Proficient in medallion architecture.

- Trace data flow from silver (3NF) to gold (dimensional) layer.

- Design efficient data mappings and integrate business rules.

- Close collaboration with relevant teams to ensure consistency and accuracy.

- Erwin, Teradata architecture & tools

- Advanced SQL

- ETL pipelines

- Agile methodology for project delivery

Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong expertise in dimensional modelling and BI solution implementation.

- Hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, Teradata, ETL, and SQL.

- Experience in team leadership and client-facing consultancy roles.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.

- Willingness to travel to LIC site in Mumbai as required.
