Role Overview :

We are a fast-scaling agri-tech company building robust data systems to support rapid growth over the next 12 months.

As we expand, data will be at the core of every decision we make.

We are looking for a Business Intelligence & AI Lead who can take full ownership of our data ecosystem from structuring raw data to building intelligent systems that drive actionable insights.

This role is designed to evolve into a Head of Data & AI position, offering a fast track into leadership.

You will work directly with the Founder to translate business challenges into scalable data solutions and AI-driven strategies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Audit existing databases and identify gaps, redundancies, and inconsistencies

- Standardize data structures and enforce best practices across systems

- Define and maintain a single source of truth with robust validation mechanisms

- Design and implement AI-powered systems such as:

- Lead scoring models

- Churn prediction models

- Business insight engines

- Leverage automation and AI tools to enhance decision-making speed and accuracy

- Build automated dashboards for real-time business visibility

- Create AI-driven weekly and monthly reports with actionable insights

- Ensure data is accessible and understandable across teams

- Translate business ideas into structured Product Requirement Documents (PRDs)

- Define success metrics, KPIs, and tracking mechanisms

- Partner with business and product teams to align data solutions with growth goals

- Manage and mentor a team of 24 data/MIS professionals

- Drive a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement

Must Have Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong proficiency in SQL

- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL / Supabase

- Experience with dashboarding tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Metabase, or similar)

- Solid understanding of APIs and Firebase

- High fluency with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, automation platforms)

- Strong systems thinking and problem-solving ability

- Comfort working in fast-paced startup environments

Good to Have :

- Experience in building or scaling data systems in a startup

- Exposure to machine learning workflows or predictive modeling

- Familiarity with agri-tech, fintech, or data-heavy industries

- Experience writing PRDs or working closely with product team
