We are looking for a Java Developer to join our development team and contribute to the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise applications. You will work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and cross-functional IT teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality software solutions while supporting the complete application lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in functional analysis, technical design, and solution implementation.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and related technologies.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following development standards and best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and participate in release and deployment activities.
- Perform unit and integration testing to ensure application quality before UAT.
- Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Resolve application defects and support incident and change requests.
- Create and maintain technical documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
- Provide application support to business users and collaborate with internal IT teams.
- Monitor application availability and contribute to continuous improvements in performance, reliability, and security.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, project meetings, and on-call support when required.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with Java (7/8/11/17) and the Spring Framework.
- Experience developing REST and SOAP web services.
- Good knowledge of MS SQL Server, SQL, JSON, and XML.
- Experience with ReactJS, Redux, and modern JavaScript (ES6).
- Knowledge of application servers such as GlassFish and WildFly.
- Experience with messaging technologies such as ActiveMQ/OpenMQ.
- Familiarity with Maven, Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience using Jira, ReadyAPI, IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse.
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an advantage.
Security & Best Practices:
- Knowledge of secure coding principles (OWASP).
- Experience implementing authentication and authorization using OAuth, JWT, or SAML.
- Understanding of API security, encryption, and data protection.
- Familiarity with Spring Security, SonarQube, and OWASP ZAP.
- Awareness of compliance standards such as GDPR and PCI-DSS.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Montova ESB and ehCache.
- Exposure to DevOps and modern deployment practices.
