Position for IT-OT Integration Engineer

Experience : 4 - 8 years of Experience

Notice Period : Immediate joiners to 30 days.

Location : Gurugram

Position Summary :

- Background in Industrial Automation and IT-OT integration.

- Knowledge of leading industry practices/frameworks for IT-OT integration systems.

- Understanding of IT-OT Systems architecture and higher level SCADA/ MES.

OT Experience :

Must Have :

- Deep understanding of Control system (PLC/SCADA) and Electrical drawing.

- Knowledge of Industrial networking (TCP-IP, Modbus and serial etc.)

Good to Have :

- Foundational knowledge of IT-OT boundaries and Experience in open platform Scada (Ex. Ignition).

- Understanding of ICS network devices (firewalls, routers, IDS, IPS, etc.) configuration and deployment architecture.

- Fundamental knowledge of OPC-UA and Server-client concept.

IT-OT Integration Experience :

Must Have :

- Deep understanding of IT-OT boundaries.

- Knowledge of industrial and enterprise systems architecture, including MES, SCADA, Historians, PLM, ERP and middleware platforms, using technologies such as OPC-UA protocol, Kafka and MQTT.

- Knowledge of data modeling tools (Ex. Siome and UA expert etc.)

- Maintain a solid understanding of Digital Twin, Predictive Maintenance, Analytics and reporting solutions (optionally AI/LLM-based approaches), and assess their integration prerequisites and system dependencies.

- Industrial historian and time-series systems (e.g. AVEVA / OSIsoft PI).

Good to Have :

- Understanding of cyber security, OT security.

- Knowledge of networking components (Switches, routers etc.)

- Understanding of networking concepts LAN, WAN, MAN, PAN, VLAN and subnetting.

Soft Skills :

Must Have :

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Ability to plan, operate and deliver with minimal supervision and guidance.

- Team-oriented and collaborative demeanor.

- Ability to think on your feet.

Good to Have :

- IT-OT integration / MES consulting experience.

- Team management experience.

Certifications :

- Certification in Industrial networking, Open platform SCADA/MES tools, Any object oriented language and OPC-UA.
