Infosys - Generative AI Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI solutions using modern LLM frameworks

- Work on Agentic AI systems involving autonomous decision-making and orchestration

- Build and optimize NLP models for real-world business applications

- Develop and implement RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) pipelines

- Utilize frameworks like LangChain and LangGraph for building AI workflows and agents

- Integrate and work with LLMs such as OpenAI, Gemini, and other foundation models

- Collaborate with consulting, product, and engineering teams across project phases (problem definition, solution design, deployment)

- Conduct research, evaluate tools/technologies, and build POCs to validate solutions

- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications

- Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize model performance

- Contribute to innovation initiatives and knowledge sharing within the organization

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5 to 10 years of experience in Data Science / Machine Learning / AI

- Strong expertise in Generative AI, Agentic AI, and NLP

- Hands-on experience with RAG architectures and LLM-based systems

- Proficiency in LangChain, LangGraph, and similar orchestration frameworks

- Experience working with OpenAI, Gemini, or other LLM APIs/models

- Strong programming skills in Python

- Solid understanding of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and data modeling

- Experience in building and deploying scalable AI solutions

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills (Good to Have) :

- Experience in end-to-end AI product development

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

- Knowledge of MLOps and model deployment pipelines

- Experience in consulting or client-facing roles

- Familiarity with vector databases and semantic search

Education :

- B.E./B.Tech / B.Sc / BCA in relevant fields

- OR MCA / M.Tech / MS / M.Sc
