Hotfoot - Java Lead - Server Side Component

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and implement data flow/interactions across various business components.

- Prototype new ideas.

- Conduct code reviews, ensuring delivery of features/tasks at the highest quality within committed timelines.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Java development.

- Strong hands-on experience with Web services, SOAP, and REST.

- Experience with caching systems such as Aerospike and Redis.

- Experience with database query tuning.

- Ability to adapt to experimenting with new technologies.

- Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

- Able to work independently in a fast-paced start-up environment.

- Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, or Jackrabbit.

- Desirable knowledge of Kafka or message queue systems.

- Plus : E-commerce search experience and hands-on experience in REST API specification
