HiLabs - Lead Data Engineer - ETL/Data Warehousing

Role Overview :

We are looking for a hands-on Lead Data Engineer who can design and build scalable data pipelines, optimize data platforms, and drive engineering excellence.

This role requires strong ownership, deep technical expertise, and the ability to work in a fast-paced product environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and build scalable ETL and ELT pipelines for large datasets

- Develop robust data workflows using tools like Airflow or similar

- Optimize SQL and NoSQL databases for performance and scalability

- Work closely with Data Scientists and Product teams to enable data-driven solutions

- Implement data quality, validation, and monitoring frameworks

- Build and maintain data warehouses and data models

- Automate data processes and improve pipeline efficiency

- Ensure data security, governance, and compliance standards

Good to Have :

- Experience in US Healthcare domain

- Knowledge of HIPAA and data privacy standards

- Experience working in SaaS or product-based companies
