Role Purpose :

This position presents an excellent opportunity to develop and expand digital foundation capabilities within Gunnebo's global manufacturing and industrial settings. This is a unique opportunity to design and build the digital foundation supporting Gunnebo's global manufacturing transformation. The Full Stack Developer will deliver cloud-native applications, Industrial IoT (IIoT) platforms, edge-to-cloud integrations, and integration and analytics solutions for Connected Machinery, Smart Factory, and Industry 4.0 initiatives across global manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Application & Platform Development :

- Build industrial web applications using React, Redux, TypeScript with structured state management.

- Develop backend services with C#, .NET 8, ASP.NET Core Web API.

- Design and expose REST APIs for device data, workflows, and enterprise integrations.

- Implement clean architecture with separation of domain, application, and infrastructure layers.

- Develop responsive dashboards for shop floor and enterprise users.

- Implement authentication and authorization using Azure AD / Entra ID.

2. Industrial IoT & Smart Factory Enablement :

- Integrate PLCs, sensors, gateways, and machine telemetry across Capital Asset Networks.

- Develop IIoT solutions using Azure IoT Hub, IoT Edge, Digital Twins, Event Hub, Service Bus, and Azure Functions.

- Design edge-to-cloud architectures using containerized IoT Edge modules.

- Implement MQTT-based device communication and message routing.

- Enable real-time data processing, OEE, utilization, and predictive maintenance.

3. Cloud, DevOps & Secure Integration :

- Build event-driven and serverless architectures using Azure Functions (C#).

- Deploy solutions using Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

- Implement fully serverless patterns for scalability and cost control.

- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability best practices.

- Secure APIs using Azure API Management.

- Ensure enterprise security and architecture compliance.

4. Data & Enterprise Integration :

- Design telemetry and time-series data models in Azure Cosmos DB.

- Implement transactional workloads using Azure SQL.

- Integrate with MES and ERP systems using APIs and messaging.

5. Agile Delivery & Collaboration :

- Collaborate with global product owners to define scope and MVPs.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint execution.

- Maintain documentation, test automation, and coding standards.

Technical Skills :

Backend :

- C#, .NET 8, ASP.NET Core Web API.

- Event-driven and serverless architectures.

- Azure Functions with IoT Hub, Event Hub, Service Bus.

Frontend :

- React, Redux, TypeScript (Angular acceptable).

- Real-time UI updates using WebSocket's or SignalR.

Cloud & Azure :

- Azure IoT Hub & IoT Edge.

- Event Hub, Service Bus, Azure Functions.

- Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL.

- Azure DevOps CI/CD.

- Application Insights & Log Analytics.

Industrial Communication :

- MQTT protocol design and broker configuration.

- Secure device provisioning and certificate-based authentication.

- High-throughput telemetry ingestion and message routing.

Databases :

- Azure Cosmos DB with partition key strategy and multi-region setup.

- SQL Server / Azure SQL.

- Data modeling for industrial telemetry and event streams.

Preferred Experience :

- Manufacturing IT/OT convergence, MES, automation systems.

- Edge computing, OPC-UA, industrial communication protocols.

- Large-scale MQTT-based device ecosystems.

- Azure certifications (AZ-204, AZ-305, AZ-900).

Required Qualifications & Experience :

- Bachelor's / master's degree in computer science or related discipline.

- 5+ years of experience in full-stack or software development.

- Experience in IIoT, manufacturing systems, or Industry 4.0 environments.

- Experienced in IT and digital roles within manufacturing.
