Generative AI Lead - LLM/RAG

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Generative AI Lead to drive the development and implementation of enterprise-grade Generative AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead day-to-day development and implementation of Generative AI applications using Python and Azure AI services.

- Build and enhance LLM-powered applications for enterprise business use cases.

- Develop RAG pipelines involving document ingestion, data preprocessing, chunking, embeddings, vector search and response generation.

- Implement prompt engineering techniques and optimize LLM outputs for accuracy, relevance and consistency.

- Develop and integrate Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio functionalities into existing business applications.

- Work with Azure OpenAI models and configure LLM-based application workflows based on defined solution designs.

- Implement semantic search and vector database integrations to improve information retrieval.

- Develop APIs and backend services to integrate GenAI capabilities with enterprise applications.

- Troubleshoot technical issues related to LLM responses, retrieval accuracy, application performance and integrations.

- Conduct code reviews, enforce development standards and ensure quality of technical deliverables.

- Lead and mentor a team of developers and provide technical guidance throughout the development lifecycle.

- Coordinate with solution architects, product teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide implementation estimates.

- Monitor application performance and identify opportunities for improving response quality, latency and cost efficiency.

- Support testing, deployment and production stabilization of GenAI applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 911 years of overall experience in software engineering, AI/ML or application development.

- Strong hands-on experience in Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).

- Practical experience building and implementing RAG-based applications.

- Strong programming expertise in Python.

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure OpenAI Service.

- Experience developing Microsoft Copilot or Copilot Studio integrations.

- Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, semantic search and document retrieval techniques.

- Experience with prompt engineering, LLM integration and model evaluation.

- Familiarity with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex or Semantic Kernel.

- Experience developing REST APIs and integrating AI applications with enterprise systems.

- Understanding of application deployment, debugging, performance optimization and cloud environments.

- Experience leading developers, conducting code reviews and managing technical delivery.
