About the Role :

We're building the next generation of AI-powered software for accounting and finance professionals.

The goal is simple : take real, complex work off accountants' plates through intelligent AI agents and automation.

As a Full-Stack Engineer, you'll build the core product - from backend APIs and data models to React interfaces and production-grade AI workflows. You'll work closely with the founders and product team, move quickly, and take ownership from problem definition through production.

This is not a role where you simply pick up tickets or stitch together AI APIs.

We're looking for someone who can understand the problem, make sound technical decisions, challenge requirements when needed, and own what they ship.

What You'll Build :

- AI agents and multi-step automation workflows that perform real accounting and finance tasks

- Production-grade backend services using Django, Django REST Framework and PostgreSQL

- React-based product experiences for B2B users

- AI workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI / Anthropic APIs and RAG

- Document-processing pipelines involving OCR, extraction, validation and structured outputs

- Asynchronous workflows using Celery and Redis

- Multi-tenant systems with RBAC, audit trails and secure data access

- APIs and integrations that connect AI workflows with the rest of the product

- Reliable systems that handle complex, multi-step workflows and edge cases

What We're Looking For :

Strong Full-Stack Fundamentals :

- 3+ years building and shipping production software

- Strong hands-on experience with: Python, Django / Django REST Framework, ReactJS, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, Celery + Redis

- Strong understanding of API design, database modelling, asynchronous processing and error handling

- Experience writing production-quality tests, particularly around complex business logic and edge cases

AI Engineering Experience :

- You should have hands-on experience building AI-powered features beyond simple API integrations.

- Strong experience with one or more of the following : LangChain / LangGraph, OpenAI / Anthropic APIs, RAG pipelines, Tool-calling and function-calling agents, Structured outputs, Multi-step agent workflows, LLM evaluation and reliability, Document understanding / extraction, AI-powered automation pipelines

- You should be comfortable taking an AI workflow from prototype to production, including handling failures, edge cases, retries, validation and observability.

Product & Architecture :

- Experience building B2B SaaS products is highly valuable, particularly systems involving: Multi-tenant architectures, RBAC and permissions, Audit trails, Complex relational data models, Workflow-driven applications, External API integrations

- Experience with tax, accounting, finance, payments or financial document processing is a strong plus.

Nice to Have :

- Document OCR / intelligent document processing

- AWS or GCP

- Experience working with financial or accounting documents

- Experience building internal automation or AI-first products
