We're looking for a Tech Lead to join the Engineering Team at Impacteers. In this role, you'll lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, reliable, and high-quality technology solutions across our platform.

You'll work closely with product, design, engineering, and cross-functional teams to translate business and product requirements into practical technical solutions. This role is ideal for someone with strong engineering fundamentals, hands-on development experience, system design maturity, ownership mindset, and the ability to guide engineers while still staying close to execution.

Role Overview :

As a Tech Lead, you will :

- Lead the technical planning, architecture, and execution of product features across web, backend, and platform systems

- Translate product and business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and technically sound solutions

- Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to define implementation approaches, technical trade-offs, and release plans

- Own technical quality across assigned modules, including code structure, performance, reliability, security, and maintainability

- Guide engineers through code reviews, design discussions, implementation planning, debugging, and delivery

- Break down complex technical problems into clear tasks, milestones, and engineering plans

- Contribute hands-on to development where required, especially for complex, high-impact, or foundational work

- Improve engineering processes, development standards, documentation, and release discipline

- Ensure smooth integration between frontend, backend, APIs, databases, third-party tools, and AI-enabled systems

- Identify technical risks early and propose practical solutions or phased approaches

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance speed, quality, scalability, and business priorities

- Contribute to AI-enabled product development by identifying where AI systems, automation, integrations, or intelligent workflows can improve product value

- Work with teams to translate AI capabilities into reliable, usable, and production-ready technical solutions

Basic Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

- 5- 8 years of experience in software engineering, full-stack development, backend engineering, or platform engineering

- Prior experience leading a small engineering team, module, product pod, or technical workstream

- Strong programming fundamentals and hands-on experience with modern backend and/or frontend technologies

- Experience designing and building scalable web applications, APIs, services, and data-driven systems

- Strong understanding of system design, database design, API design, application architecture, and integration patterns

- Ability to review code, guide engineers, debug complex issues, and maintain technical quality

- Comfortable working cross-functionally with product, design, QA, business, and leadership teams

- Strong communication and collaboration skills with a practical problem-solving mindset

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with ambiguity and changing priorities

- Awareness of how AI-enabled products influence architecture, reliability, user trust, data handling, and system behavior

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working with technologies such as Node.js, Python, React, Next.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar stacks

- Experience building SaaS platforms, marketplaces, HR tech, edtech, career tech, hiring tech, or workflow automation products

- Experience with cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, monitoring, logging, and production support

- Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, security basics, data privacy, and performance optimization

- Experience integrating third-party APIs, AI APIs, LLM workflows, automation systems, or data pipelines

- Ability to make pragmatic architecture decisions while balancing speed, scalability, and maintainability

- Experience mentoring engineers and improving team engineering practices

- Familiarity with tools such as GitHub, Jira, Notion, Linear, Postman, Figma, CI/CD tools, and observability platforms

- Interest in AI-powered products and practical understanding of AI considerations such as latency, cost, reliability, explainability, data quality, and fallback handling

- Curiosity about emerging AI trends, developer tools, and product opportunities in the talent and career ecosystem
