Role Summary :

We are seeking a passionate and seasoned Technical Lead - Engineering to drive our development team in Noida. In this role, you will take complete ownership and accountability for the design, development, and timely delivery of enterprise-class software solutions for global pharmaceutical companies. You will lead a high-performing team of 4 to 8 engineers, championing modern full-stack architectures, microservices, and innovative engineering practices - including the responsible adoption of AI-assisted development tools.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Team Leadership & Mentorship :

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 4 - 8 engineers, overseeing hiring, annual appraisals, career development, and technical capability building.

2. Architecture & Design :

- Drive the design and development of scalable, secure, and highly available microservices-based applications.

3. Sprint & Delivery Execution :

- Collaborate with Product Owners and architects to plan, prioritize, and monitor sprints, ensuring strict adherence to release schedules and high-quality software output.

4. Hands-on Technical Guidance :

- Conduct rigorous design and code reviews, troubleshoot complex technical roadblocks, and provide direct hands-on support.

5. Engineering Standards & AI Adoption :

- Enforce best practices across coding standards, unit testing, and documentation while promoting the safe, practical integration of AI-assisted productivity tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, Amazon Q Developer).

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Partner closely with Project Managers, Test Managers, and database/QA teams to deliver technical Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and feature releases within an Agile framework.

- Messaging & Caching : Apache Kafka, Redis, Hazelcast

- Databases : MySQL, Oracle

- Cloud & DevOps : AWS, Git, Jenkins, Nginx

- Collaboration & Tracking : Jira, Confluence, Agile/Scrum methodologies

- AI-Assisted Tools : Practical knowledge and governance of AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Amazon Q Developer)

Qualifications & Experience :

1. Education : BE / B.Tech / MCA from a recognized institution with a strong academic background.

2. Total Experience : 6 to 10 years of full-stack programming and engineering experience, featuring robust expertise in Java-based frameworks and Angular.

3. Leadership Experience : Demonstrated history of managing and leading engineering teams of 4 - 8 members in fast-paced Agile environments.

4. Domain Advantage : Prior working exposure within the Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical domain is highly preferred.
