Job Title : Engineering Lead (Founding India Team).

Job Location : Pune, Maharashtra.

Our client is building our core India engineering hub starting with a Senior Technical Lead who will own architecture, lead the team, and work directly with executive leadership.

What You Will Lead :

Architecture, design, and development of core systems :

- High-volume ingestion pipelines.

- Agent telemetry + observability engine.

- Analytics & risk-classification platform.

- LLM reasoning, eval layers, and agent-behavior models.

- End-to-end delivery : design - architecture - implementation - performance.

- Lead and mentor a high-caliber engineering team across Python, LLMs, front-end, and DevOps.

- Collaborate directly with executive leadership on roadmap, platform evolution, and scaling decisions.

- Institute world-class engineering standards (quality, security, reliability, testing).

- Guide UI development for complex agent-behavior visualizations.

- Recruit, upskill, and shape the future India engineering team.

Tech Stack :

- Backend : Python, FastAPI, async frameworks.

- AI/LLM : Open AI, Anthropic, embeddings, RAG, vector DBs, eval frameworks.

- Architecture : microservices, distributed systems.

- Frontend : Angular (modern, modular UI).

- Pipelines / DevOps : CI/CD, observability, API gateways, containerized deployments.

You do not need to know all pieces but you must love solving hard, ambiguous, high-scale engineering problems.

What Were Looking For :

- 12+ years of software engineering experience.

- Hands-on experience with agent/workflow orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, and/or similar (e.g., LlamaIndex agents), including multi-step tool calling and human-in-the-loop patterns.

- Strong system design & architecture capability.

- Production-grade Python + API design experience.

- Interest or experience in AI/LLM development.

- Experience mentoring or leading developers.

- Strong execution discipline in an agile product environment.

- Excellent communication and ownership mindset.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with observability or security products.

- Experience in building data pipelines, analytics, or high-scale systems.

- Prior early-stage startup or founding-team responsibilities.
