Engineering Head - Python

About the Client :

Building an AI-driven advertising technology platform that helps automate and optimize digital media buying across platforms

Role Overview :

We are looking for a highly experienced Head of Engineering to lead our engineering team, drive platform architecture, and build scalable AI-powered systems.

This role requires a strong technical leader who can work closely with founders, lead engineering execution, and build high-performance teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead overall engineering and technology strategy

- Build scalable backend systems using Python technologies

- Design and improve platform architecture and cloud infrastructure

- Drive engineering best practices, code quality, and delivery

- Build and mentor high-performing engineering teams

- Collaborate with product and AI teams to develop intelligent automation systems

- Ensure platform scalability, reliability, and performance

Required Skills & Experience :

- 12+ years of software engineering experience

- 4+ years in engineering leadership roles

- Strong expertise in Python, Django, FastAPI, or Flask

- Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure

- Strong understanding of system design, microservices, and distributed systems

- Experience building scalable real-time systems and data pipelines

- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills

Good to Have :

- Experience with Go or Rust

- Background in AdTech, AI, or automation platforms
