Role Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled Embedded C++ Developer with 6+ years of experience in embedded software and firmware development. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Embedded C++, Linux-based systems, protocol development, and firmware design. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to build scalable, reliable, and high-performance embedded solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software applications using Embedded C++.

- Build, optimize, and maintain firmware for embedded devices and systems.

- Develop communication protocols and integrate industrial protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, and Ethernet/IP (EIP).

- Collaborate with hardware, software, and QA teams for seamless system integration.

- Analyze system requirements and translate them into robust software solutions.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve firmware and embedded software issues.

- Ensure software performance, reliability, and scalability across embedded platforms.

- Develop automated tests for firmware validation and software quality assurance.

- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and engineering practices.

- Maintain technical documentation for software architecture, designs, and implementations.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 6+ years of experience in embedded software development.

- Strong programming expertise in Embedded C++.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Linux environments.

- Strong knowledge of embedded systems architecture and firmware development.

- Experience with industrial communication protocols like Modbus, Profibus, and Ethernet/IP (EIP).

- Good understanding of device drivers and low-level programming concepts.

- Experience in debugging embedded systems and performance optimization.

- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.

- Experience in writing and maintaining automated tests.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of RTOS and real-time embedded systems.

- Experience with version control tools such as Git.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for embedded development.

- Exposure to hardware interfacing and microcontroller programming.

- Understanding of software design patterns and best coding practices.
