Data Migration Engineer - AWS Glue/Python/PySpark

Job title : Data Migration + AWS Glue + Python + Pyspark

Experience : 4 to 6 years

Location : PuneMagarpatta

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong experience in data migration, data integration, and ETL processes

- Strong experience in AWS Glue, Python, Pyspark and Postgres SQL

- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, RDS, Glue, S3, CloudWatch

- Good understanding of SQL and database management

- Experience in data validation, transformation, and performance testing

- Exposure to API integrations and microservices architecture

- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Desired Skills :

- Knowledge of JDF portfolio management and accounting

- Experience in creating functional and technical documentation

- Exposure to enterprise-scale data migration projects

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze business requirements and design data migration strategies

- Execute data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes

- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance optimization

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

- Maintain documentation for migration processes and workflows

- Provide production support for migration-related issues

- Continuously improve migration processes and tools

Education : Degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience. University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
