Data Engineer - ETL/Data Warehousing

We are currently hiring a Data Engineer for one of our esteemed clients, a leading IT technology consulting firm specializing in innovative solutions and services.

Location : Pune (Hinjawadi) (WFO)

Experience : 5+ years

Job description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, prototype, and develop scalable analytics and data platform solutions

- Build and optimize ETL/data transformation pipelines and cloud data warehouse solutions

- Develop dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, Tableau, Sigma, or similar BI tools

- Analyze business and analytics requirements and deliver production-ready solutions

- Implement secure coding practices and follow SDLC and change management processes

- Enhance enterprise data platform capabilities including data integration, transformation, and analytics

- Work closely with architects, developers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions

- Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize database and platform performance

- Support CI/CD, source control, and deployment activities.

Required Skills :

- Strong experience in ETL, Data Engineering, and Analytics

- Strong SQL and Python scripting skills

- Hands-on experience with BI and data visualization tools

- Good understanding of data modeling, transformation, and presentation techniques

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Snowflake

- Knowledge of database concepts including stored procedures, triggers, and indexing

- Understanding of secure data handling and governance practices

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
