Data Engineer - ETL

Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data systems. You will be responsible for developing robust data pipelines, managing data platforms, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data

- Develop and manage data warehouses and data lakes ensuring data quality, security, and accessibility

- Implement efficient ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion, transformation, and integration

- Optimize data architectures for performance, scalability, and reliability

- Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to deploy and support machine learning models

- Build data processing systems to handle high-volume, high-velocity datasets

- Ensure data governance, compliance, and security standards are followed

- Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide long-term scalable solutions

Technical Skills Required :

- Strong experience in SQL, Python/Scala/Java

- Hands-on experience with ETL tools and data pipeline frameworks (e.g., Airflow, Spark)

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

- Knowledge of data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.)

- Familiarity with big data technologies (Hadoop, Kafka, Spark)

- Understanding of data modeling and database design

- Exposure to machine learning workflows is a plus

Good to Have :

- Experience with real-time data processing

- Knowledge of DevOps/DataOps practices

- Familiarity with data security and governance frameworks
